In 12 days, I will be flying to Madrid for my semester in España. From Madrid, the group will visit Toledo, and then, continue on to Valencia. The trip will be a major experience for me as I spend more time outside of the states then I have in over 10 years. And I will remember it this time.
While there, I’ll be studying at the Universidad de Valencia taking courses in Spanish about Spanish, and hopefully, walking out of the country with a better handle on the idioma en general.
I can not wait to experience the culture and lifestyle that will surely change my day-to-day outlook at least while I’m living there. The opportunities and experiences are endless!
My friend Stefka also is in the program which will make the trip much more enjoyable. She and I are planning to travel to Bulgaria, her birthplace, in May. We will be checking off the countries and living life to the fullest.
